Blogs have taken the internet by storm. According to Google, over 40 Million blogs have been created in the past two years. What does this tell us? It tells us that there is major competition for blog traffic.

Now in all fairness, I would say a decent percentage of those blogs are not focused on trying to drive traffic in, they are just personal blogs for friends and family. Nonetheless, promoting your blog is a much more difficult task than creating & maintaining it.
